Lunch stop at Maria’s!! So so good.
They are really nice!! They really are! (And you can volunteer for Women’s Prison Book Project there, too.)
Once upon a time in my life I wanted to be a potter. I saved up all my spare change and dollar bills and after years I bought myself a wheel. After a short while I realized I had perhaps been misguided in my dream; I wanted to be Demi Moore in Ghost without putting in the dogged work of getting good at pottery. (It’s hard!) I not-so-reluctantly sold my wheel for a fraction of what I’d paid, and moved on.

But every time I pass by Northern Clay Center I get a little tingling to go in and create something beautifully terrible.
I loved these numbers.

Every time I pass a Little Free Library I smile. Every time I pass an All Are Welcome Here sign my heart fills with hope. This was a nice place to walk by.
